Red Fiction, the experimental project of Jason Schimmel, premiered a video for “Clone 13” from the album Visions of the Void. Red Fiction (formerly Atomic Ape), led by Jason Schimmel, dropped a new single called “Laceration” that blends metal, math rock, prog, free jazz and noise into a chaotic, intense composition. The track uses wild instrumentation — baritone sax run through Marshall amps, ambient field recordings, analog Moog synths, and a ’60s Fender Bass VI — aiming to immerse the listener in a distorted, dystopian sonic world.
